From experiments to an album.
Released on May 22, 2019, Pursuit of Happiness brought the earlier lessons in arrangement, melody and digital production into a complete commercial release. It follows the early Pombrah collections and the transition represented by For You.
The album moves from its title track through Over Mountains, New Season and Into the Depths, closing with Palm Tree. Piano and guitar sit alongside electronic and cinematic writing.

Ryan handled the music and the visual presentation. While many later singles have their own individual artwork, Pursuit of Happiness keeps one album identity across its ten tracks.
The work extended beyond the final mix to artwork, metadata, identifiers and distribution: the connected process that became the basis for Pombrah’s independent publishing practice.
